LEAS CLIFF HALL, FOLKESTONE
What a superb show!
The singing was extremely good, so nice to hear the popular songs from Mowtown. They even had the dances that some of the artists used to do. The time went far too quickly but I would definitely recommend this show if you like this generation of music. The costume changes were so quick for the three men and three women, one of the best outfits was the Jackson Five, very entertaining.
The Leas Cliff Hall is a great local location for shows, even more so now with Covid still about as it is not a huge hall plus the separate seats. There are two bars with the average price for a gin and tonic about £6.50. There is also plenty of room for people to dance down each side at the end of the seats, it can be a bit annoying when some decide to stand right in front of you but they do move them eventually.
There are some great shows coming up, especially the pantomime which will be cinderella this year. I am going to the opening event so will let you know about the 13th December how great it is. Three of my grandchildren are looking forward to it.
2022 is looking like a great year for shows in Folkestone!
Are you booked in to see any shows next year? I am going to see Michael Bublé at the Canterbury cricket ground, I just hope it does not rain as it’s an outside show.
A magical evening.
