THE GOOD AND BAD
ETSY GOOD
This is just a page from Etsy, but they are all over social media as soon as you search for a blind date with a book. They are all packaged differently, but the main idea is the same: book, pen, stickers, bookmark, tabs, t-bag, facemask. Some have more some have less!
I started seeing these online about September last year, I was impressed and thought they were a great idea for book-loving people. The price range was vast, so it was hard to pick, I decided to go with one of the lower price options as I just wanted to see what they were like.
Kara keeps telling me to read everything and the reviews before I buy anything, and I am beginning to agree with her and will tell you all to do the same.

The third photo shows the thickness of the book! It is not even a full book!
The 6 stickers are all Christmas so not a lot of use now!
The bookmark is tiny, I will say that the highlighter worked.
To say I felt ripped off is an understatement, oh yes, I ordered a romance and a mystery and got two the same!
The site did not look Chinese, so I was surprised when I got the delivery note that it would take ages to arrive. No good for a Christmas present, then!
The above is what I did not read in the descriptions. I have read a lot of them now, and most that are online adverts need very careful reading but the ones on Etsy all appear to be very good and have new or pre-loved books in them. I am wondering how many other people have been caught out with these, as it is a shame as I still love the idea and it certainly makes a super gift for a bookworm. Let me know what you think.
