SPIROS APARTMENTS IN CORFU
The apartments are super clean with everything you would need for a holiday. Even the wifi is excellent plus there is always hot water for a shower any time of the day. I have never been on this trip before even though this is the third time I have been to Corfu. The day starts when they pick you up at your apartment about 8.45 you then travel by coach or car to the port. The boat is there ready for you to board and then pay, €35 is a good price for a lovely day out. For September there are still a lot of people about in Corfu so when The Barbados had their Greek night on Saturday the place was packed, it was nice to see though. They have all had a good summer which they really needed after the last few years. This is one of the nicest restaurants I have ever been too, the simple decoration that separates all the eating areas are brilliant. The wall decorations of plates and baskets, so simple but very effective plus makes it different to all the other places here in Corfu. What a glorious sunset, made even better with a cold sparkling water after a day on the beach. Then a scrumptious meal Stifados which is beef, cooked in a sauce that makes it so tender with mushrooms and onions with small roast potatoes and salad, not sure about the salad but I did eat some of it. They don’t really have vegetables out here with meals.

If you love a good market then make sure you go to the one in Benidorm, it is on Wednesdays and Saturdays and you can always find a bargain. I got myself a nice ‘Prada’ bag! Keep your bags close though as there have been known to have some people looking for some free cash. The Philippines 10 Bar has some really good shows that run all night. All the bars and clubs are air-conditioned now so have a trip round and see some of the shows. Cocktails are made in all the bars but mainly just the traditional ones.

Trying to walk from one end of Benidorm to the other is something that we could not do now so to enable us to see all the views we decided to hire a double mobility scooter for the day. We went to Say Go who seemed to be a pretty good company with a lot of new mobility scooters available. All the staff were amazing and so helpful, they obviously have very good training as they were the best I had seen in dealing with very rude and rowdy customers. This did arise when a group were asked to pay €200 as a deposit for each room in case of any breakages, it was dealt with quickly and smoothly, very impressive. The Royal Arrow pub which showed all the sports and had acts inside was underneath the hotel but the most amazing thing was that we could not hear anything when in our room on the second level.
