I just love these events every night. They are so different and entertaining, and they are also very short, so you don’t get too cold. I went to an author event at the book festival last week as it was an introduction to some of our local authors, I thought I knew most of them but I was super surprised to see the line up and only knew three of them! Where have they been hiding, I made contact with most of them and waiting to hear from them about their writing journey and books. COOKHOUSE PUB LADIES THAT LUNCH We had another ladies that lunch last week at Brickfields with much laughter and news from us all. Two of our ladies could not make it so they were missed. Service was excellent with hardly any wait times for the food and it was nice and hot, for a change I had a cheeseburger and instantly remembered why I don’t have burgers when out for dinner. That’s Halloween all over, I am sure the event gets bigger every year but the children do love dressing up, and some adults really get into the event as well. My great-grandson will be 4 this month, where does the time go? He dressed up as a pumpkin and loved scaring me!
