I had my great-grandson stay at the weekend, he is getting such a character, the things he comes out with at times make me laugh so much. He loves looking for the frogs in the pond but was unlucky this time as none came up to the top of the pond. The pots are all doing well this year, I have to get some stones around them. Do the same things annoy you or do you find most days there is always something? For me, it’s always the same things and most days I go through life pretty happy. One of my annoying things is the drivers that just stay in the middle lane, you can go right up to them on the inside and then drop back to overtake them and even pull over into the slow lane in front of them and they are still there poodling along, not even noticing! I love this place, mainly because it is pink but also the girls are so lovely there and I’m not sure how she does it but they remember everything about you! I treated myself and had a pedicure and manicure today so I am already for my birthday holiday. It feels like an indulgence getting your toe nails done but it looks so much nicer than trying to do it yourself. My writing group in Folkestone called Write by the Sea has published its third anthology called Journeys by the Sea. The book launch will be on Saturday 13th May from 2pm until 6pm at the new bookshop in Tontine Street, Folkestone, Kent CT20 1JP This is a free event for everyone to attend, there will be refreshments, finger buffet and crafts for children to do while you browse the books and meet all the authors.
