CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY
ROYAL HIPPODROME THEATRE, EASTBOURNE I had a super day yesterday. We took Enzo to Eastbourne, as he loves watching shows. We watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I have never been to this theatre, so it was nice to go somewhere new, even though it is very old, but what a lovely theatre! They do tours on a Wednesday throughout the year for £5 We all had a great time, the show was superb with some great actors. Hungry Horse, Folkestone We decided to go last weekend because we knew Easter weekend would be busy. It was definitely a good choice, as the Easter Bunny spent so much time chatting to Enzo. They even had a hopping race together! This pub is so nice, the way they do things for the children at times. DAYS SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT, NINE AND TEN I had to put these days together as we have just been sunbathing, I have read three books, and it has been so nice to just relax. We went down to the bars a couple of times, and we had a super salad in the Orange bar. Chicken, bacon and avocado, it was so nice we had it a couple of nights and for €8.50 it was a bargain. The sports bar is Mickys and very popular. Friendly large bar with outside area as they all have for the summer and in the bad weather they enclose them with thick plastic roll down covers. A good selection of bottle beers plus all the normal ones on tap. The range of trips you can get from here is good and much cheaper going in Spain area to area.
