COOKHOUSE PUB LADIES THAT LUNCH We had another ladies that lunch last week at Brickfields with much laughter and news from us all. Two of our ladies could not make it so they were missed. Service was excellent with hardly any wait times for the food and it was nice and hot, for a change I had a cheeseburger and instantly remembered why I don’t have burgers when out for dinner. I met one of my friends in Folklore which is down The Old High Street where Banksy is, last week as her daughter Jo was doing a comedy gig there. I have never been here before but what a lovely and friendly space. They host many events and special nights so it is well worth a visit. The night was a great success with many laughs and some great comedians. Jo is doing well and is up for an award on the comedy circuit.

We had an early start, with us not so bubbly this morning with most of the coach having a little nap. Going through Switzerland woke everyone up with the oooooo’s and aaarrrrr’s over the scenery. The picture book image you have of this country is just as it is, absolutely beautiful. We learnt a few bits of information from our trusty Clive, he is one of the best drivers I have encountered on coach trips.
