WORLD BOOK DAY IN FOLKESTONE, KENT

World Book Day. If I were a child again, I would be so pleased to get a new book. I used to read so many of my books, plus I went to the library every Saturday afternoon with Grandad. They got to know me so well that they asked me to help on a Saturday, so I would put the returned books away. As slow as January went, February just flew past without stopping and now we have March. The sun is out some days and everyone is thinking about sorting their gardens out. I cannot wait to get some colour back into mine again. I have decided this year that I am not going to buy seed, bulbs or plugs. That’s January over with, thank goodness. Today, the sun has been shining, which always makes me feel better, even if I am just looking out the window to the garden. I have just had my cortisone injection in my hip so it will be a bit of chilling for me this weekend. I have one more book to read from a publisher; then I can get onto this one that Richard Cunliffe sent me to review. After that, it will be the series from Anna Todd that Kara bought for me. It is that time of the month again, so we all met up at the pub for laughs, prosecco and food. There were only six out of the nine today which was a shame but we will hopefully see them all next time. There are always some good deals at this chain, so we made the most of £5 meals which we all had. This deal is on until the end of the month and has proved very popular.
