I am friends with Jo’s mum, Linda, so we popped along to this event the other night, which was my first time out since my full hip replacement. A much-needed escape from the walls of my flat! I had the pleasure of meeting Lisa a couple of weeks ago as she was talking at The Sandgate Literary Festival. It was such a pleasant afternoon. What a lovely lady she is. I know I have been a bit quiet the last few weeks, but I am waiting for a full hip replacement next month, so because of the pain, I have spent a lot of time indoors trying to amuse myself.
