THE END OF NATIONAL NOVEL WRITING MONTH
How did you get on? I managed to stay on my plan of writing every day so I think it was a success as I find you get easily distracted when at home writing. I may not have got to the set target each day but any writing is good writing.

LEAS CLIFF HALL, FOLKESTONE You have until 4 pm to get along to The Leas Cliff hall for one of the best craft Christmas events, so much to see with a very varied price range. Did you know you can get Christmas cards with seeds for planting? What a brilliant idea. The reindeer need their Christmas treat and for 50p it’s a bargain. I love the reusable bottles with the cocktail recipe on them. Some lovely jewellery is available so you could grab a few more presents for the big day.

GOTH WEEKEND Whitby is a lovely coastal town famous for its fish n chips and the Goth weekend where just about the population dresses up in beautiful costumes. The beach is pure sand that stretches around the cliffs. Many of the restaurants had queues outside for the many fish dishes. We had a lovely time sitting and watching the many people in their costumes and a little look in the shops.

Autumn colours everywhere and a bit of a chill in the wind. Plus it’s National Novel Writing Month, are you having a go this year? Lots going on at this time of year so having a writing goal always helps. What are you writing at the moment?
