A lovely lunch was had by us all, we celebrated three birthdays so prosecco was required but they did not have any small bottles so we settled for wine and gin. If you love a good market then make sure you go to the one in Benidorm, it is on Wednesdays and Saturdays and you can always find a bargain. I got myself a nice ‘Prada’ bag! Keep your bags close though as there have been known to have some people looking for some free cash. The Philippines 10 Bar has some really good shows that run all night. All the bars and clubs are air-conditioned now so have a trip round and see some of the shows. Cocktails are made in all the bars but mainly just the traditional ones.

Trying to walk from one end of Benidorm to the other is something that we could not do now so to enable us to see all the views we decided to hire a double mobility scooter for the day. We went to Say Go who seemed to be a pretty good company with a lot of new mobility scooters available. The price was €50 for a day with a deposit of €100 that you got back when you returned the scooter. All the staff were amazing and so helpful, they obviously have very good training as they were the best I had seen in dealing with very rude and rowdy customers. This did arise when a group were asked to pay €200 as a deposit for each room in case of any breakages, it was dealt with quickly and smoothly, very impressive. The Royal Arrow pub which showed all the sports and had acts inside was underneath the hotel but the most amazing thing was that we could not hear anything when in our room on the second level.
