My first book of the year to read, which was given to me by the author to review, it took me six days, and it is a type of book that I have never read before. The concept behind the story is unique, so it will be very popular. The main person is Clara, who is going to be killed by a very unhinged man. You don’t get to know any details about him apart from how and why he wants to kill her. This is a page turner and will keep you gripped, as you can never predict what he will do next. Even the police have trouble finding him and catching him, it’s like he is invisible. Some memories are repeated, but I think it just emphasises Clara’s life before and why she left home. This is a first publication by this author; I think she could go on to be a very good writer, as this story is excellent.
