What a brilliant event from the organisation to the talks it was one of the best! The new curators Jen Thatcher and James Harkin did an outstanding job with many interesting authors and events this year. I attended some of the talks including Frances Tophill from Gardeners World which was a highlight for me as gardening is one of my passions. I bought one of her books about rewilding your garden, which is good and available on Amazon. Winter is well and truly here some days, I wish it would not rain I find that so depressing so it makes me want to curl up indoors and read a book. I love lighting my candles and a hot chocolate with squirty cream and tiny marshmallows on the top. It’s very hard if you are not in a suitable area to take your children trick or treating so I have come up with a few ideas to get them in the mood for Halloween in the comfort of their home. These can all be printed off. For the little toddlers you can go on a hunt for things in the garden or park for these, even add your own or make up different ones.
