LISA JEWELL
I had the pleasure of meeting Lisa a couple of weeks ago as she was talking at The Sandgate Literary Festival. It was such a pleasant afternoon. What a lovely lady she is. So down to earth, no wonder she writes such great books. I bought Breaking the Dark, and I loved it. Very different to her normal style of writing, as she collaborated with Marvel for this one, apparently, this story took the longest to write! It definitely grips you and keeps you reading. Many authors, bloggers, and publishers shared the book on his behalf. Back to the book, and it is brilliant; this author gets right to the heart of a fantastic story. I couldn’t put it down and read it in a couple of days.…
