Spending time in Birchington at the literary festival was good, there was a food tent run by the food of love, Thanet. This is a great tea room run by Natalie in Birchington, when I told her that I write a blog she said that I could say that her sausage rolls are the best! Birchington has joined the literary buzz around the southeast with its first festival. Today was day one, the sun was shining, there was cake, interesting authors and plenty of people to listen. It made for an interesting day, I attended Carol Salters creative writing workshop where the topic was all about your characters and bringing them to life.
