What a super day we had yesterday; apart from the rain, it was so lovely to see everyone. We did have two ladies who could not make it, and they were missed. As usual, there were plenty of laughs and sharing of news.
The food was lovely, all cooked fresh by Kara. Most had the vegetable quiche or jacket potato. Lynda and I had the sharing board with a bottle of wine for £35. There was so much that we could not eat it all, and it was all delicious.
We had a bit of fun with the wine glasses as they were almost as big as Lynda’s head; that’s why her nickname is ‘Tiny’!
Next month we are going to Margate to visit The Shell Museum and have afternoon tea.
