That’s January over with, thank goodness. Today, the sun has been shining, which always makes me feel better, even if I am just looking out the window to the garden. I have just had my cortisone injection in my hip so it will be a bit of chilling for me this weekend. I have one more book to read from a publisher; then I can get onto this one that Richard Cunliffe sent me to review. After that, it will be the series from Anna Todd that Kara bought for me. WAVE HOTEL I went away with Kara, Ben and Enzo during his birthday week to the new Waves hotel at the Butlins resort. I have never been to a Butlins so I was so surprised and pleased as it was amazing. So many things there to do and see and in walking distance of the town, not that we left the site as too much to do. The rooms were big enough, Enzo loved his room as it was like being in a submarine, they clean and change towels every couple of days and there was tea and coffee available.…

THE WHITE HART IN HYTHE, KENT I had a day out with family for my birthday the other day and popped over to Hythe to The White Hart, I haven’t been in there for years, they now have a sun trap courtyard that is splendid for lunch. The chips were the best everything was very nice. I had the little potatoes with pulled pork, just the right size for a light lunch mind you I didn’t need any dinner that evening, Char had the chicken salad.
