BUTLINS AT BOGNOR REGIS
WAVE HOTEL I went away with Kara, Ben and Enzo during his birthday week to the new Waves hotel at the Butlins resort. I have never been to a Butlins so I was so surprised and pleased as it was amazing. So many things there to do and see and in walking distance of the town, not that we left the site as too much to do. THE WHITE HART IN HYTHE, KENT I had a day out with family for my birthday the other day and popped over to Hythe to The White Hart, I haven’t been in there for years, they now have a sun trap courtyard that is splendid for lunch. The chips were the best everything was very nice. I had the little potatoes with pulled pork, just the right size for a light lunch mind you I didn’t need any dinner that evening, Char had the chicken salad. The other day it was my birthday which was great celebrating in Tenerife in lovely weather with Kara, Enzo and Ben. We had a fun time playing crazy golf, Kara beat me by two points. We had a lovely day with a bit of shopping and then laying by the pool, so great having your birthday in sunshine. In the evening we went out for a meal, starting with the champagne sangria was so nice, in fact could be dangerous if you were drinking it all night as it was so smooth. This is by far the best animal park I have visited as you can get up close to so many of the animals, which are so gentle when they take the food from you that you buy there. The crocodile just wanted to lay in the sunshine, a couple of the tortoises were huge so must have been so old. There were lots of cactus from tiny ones to huge ones. Many guinea pigs running about you had to be careful where you walked. It was great to be able to feed so many of the animals, which Enzo loved.…
