Are many of your plants flowering really late this year? My Lilys have only just come out that’s the bulbs and the pond, I do love the pink pond ones they really brighten it up as the lily pads almost cover the pond with a sea of green. WEDNESDAY UNTIL SUNDAY FROM THE 26th JULY This is one of my favourite food festivals that is local to myself, it’s also nice to catch up with friends there and experience all the new stalls. The writing group I run has a marquee with many local authors coming along to meet their readers to sign and sell their books. BLACK BULL, HUNGRY HORSE Thursday 13th July It’s been a while since we met and I remembered to take some photos, so here we go. A lovely lunch was had by us all, we celebrated three birthdays so prosecco was required but they did not have any small bottles so we settled for wine and gin. I had the Kopperburge strawberry and lime gin, which was really lovely with pink soda.
