A RING!
This is a bit of a strange post so please read on. I received this in the post, it really is gorgeous and so sparkly. All that came with it was this card, which I must say was really interesting to read as it’s all about the ring. Apparently, this is the closest you can get to a real diamond. Who would have thought buying a new suitcase would be so hard, have you seen how many different types there are now on offer? The only two things I knew were that it has to be pink, I’m a girl who loves pink and it needed to be a large size. Apparently, you get a choice in each main size, so that then involves checking with the airlines as their requirements are also all very different. My writing group in Folkestone called Write by the Sea has published its third anthology called Journeys by the Sea. The book launch will be on Saturday 13th May from 2pm until 6pm at the new bookshop in Tontine Street, Folkestone, Kent CT20 1JP This is a free event for everyone to attend, there will be refreshments, finger buffet and crafts for children to do while you browse the books and meet all the authors. I was very lucky to win a £30 voucher for Aspendos in a raffle so I decided to make an evening of it and take Kara & Ben and Jade out for a meal. I had never been to this Turkish restaurant before, it is a very popular place with establishments in all neighbouring towns. The sea view here with the afternoon sun is really nice and warm, just right for a pre-dinner aperitif. The ambience and service were excellent and definitely, somewhere I would recommend and visit again. Lovely and clean and comfy chairs, they also didn’t rush…
