AFSANA PRESS I came across this new shop the other day, it is about halfway down The Old High Street on the right. I was pleased to see we have a new publisher in Folkestone. I had a look at the books, and they very kindly gave me a book to read and review called The Resurrected by Joost Hiltermann. This will be published next month on the 5th of May 2026. BIGGEST BOOK SWAP AT SUNNY SANDS IN FOLKESTONE, UK
FOLKESTONE IS A LIBRARY What an afternoon it was yesterday, Saturday the 28th March 2026. Folkestone attempted to get into the Guinness Book of Records for holding the biggest BOOK SWAP. I guess there must have been over 2,000 people who attended this brilliant event. The atmosphere was so nice, even though it was a bit chaotic, no one minded; they were just here to swap their books and have a nice afternoon. THE POGUE TRADERS I popped into The Quarterhouse last night as Jo was introducing the evening’s entertainment. Irish night for St. Patrick’s Day on the 17th March.
