THE POGUE TRADERS I popped into The Quarterhouse last night as Jo was introducing the evening’s entertainment. Irish night for St. Patrick’s Day on the 17th March. Very well attended and good fun was had by all. FOLKESTONE IS A LIBRARY I had a look at what events they had planned. I knew about the Book Swap on Sunday, 28th March, down at Sunny Sands. What a brilliant event from the organisation to the talks it was one of the best! The new curators Jen Thatcher and James Harkin did an outstanding job with many interesting authors and events this year. I attended some of the talks including Frances Tophill from Gardeners World which was a highlight for me as gardening is one of my passions. I bought one of her books about rewilding your garden, which is good and available on Amazon. Hopefully, Frances will be able to do a talk at my writing group next year about writing a gardening book. One of…
