BIGGEST BOOK SWAP AT SUNNY SANDS IN FOLKESTONE, UK
FOLKESTONE IS A LIBRARY What an afternoon it was yesterday, Saturday the 28th March 2026. Folkestone attempted to get into the Guinness Book of Records for holding the biggest BOOK SWAP. I guess there must have been over 2,000 people who attended this brilliant event. The atmosphere was so nice, even though it was a bit chaotic, no one minded; they were just here to swap their books and have a nice afternoon. I just love these events every night. They are so different and entertaining, and they are also very short, so you don’t get too cold. Most advertise on the events tab on FaceBook, so you have a good choice…

I loved the wall of mirrors, making the space look even bigger. I cannot wait to take the laptop and get inspired for the next writing project. There is a cafe/bar,…

I loved the way the book was laid out with a small map at the front and then a glossary at the back with the French words for people who do not know any French, brilliant idea. This is the type of book that once you start reading you do not want to put down, it kept me wanting to read a couple of…
