Last week I met up with my friends for a lovely lunch at The Rosemont restaurant in Folkestone. Kara came along as she delivered some baking that she had done for a couple of my friends. Anyway, back to lunch, we all had a wonderful time with much gossip and laughter as usual when we get together. Also, good news about this restaurant keeping their 50% off lunch deal for the whole of May, I can feel another booking coming along. The service at this place is amazing, the food is lovely, in fact, I could not fault this visit at all.
The starters were delicious. I had the chorizo with hummus and warm Mediterranean bread. All cooked to perfection with a nice spicy taste. Their drinks menu is vast with a brilliant selection of just about everything you could wish for. A cool glass of Prosecco went well with my meal, plus their Aperol Spritz is made just right.

Between each course was just the right amount of time for conversation, with nothing rushed. I had the steak, which was cooked just right, and Kara had the chicken thighs.

We were celebrating Corinne’s birthday, and they very kindly bought out a piece of cake for her and sang Happy Birthday. Nothing is too much trouble at this restaurant. I am looking forward to going again next month.
