OCTOBER 2024

How did we get to October so quickly? I feel like we hardly had a summer, I want to keep remembering the sunny days but we appear to be bombarded with Halloween which is not until the very end of October. It’s like we wish the month away. It does not help that the shops are filling up with Christmas goods! We started our journey home, leaving at 8 am Going through Switzerland again was stunning. Stopping for a few breaks and lunch then arriving at the hotel we stayed at on the way down. After a couple of drinks in the bar, we then went in for dinner, we had one of the dining rooms to ourselves which was laid out beautifully.
