It’s not always easy for us to travel with a small bag or case, but I find it is happening far more nowadays. If we go for a couple of days’ break, and we just take a small bag, then everything you pack into it has to be small! That’s very hard, don’t you think? My problem is finding a small bag on wheels that will fit under your seat on a plane. I tried carrying a bag when I went to Malaga last year, and my arms and shoulders took ages to recover. Another problem about getting old, and I don’t like it. The other problem is that some airlines have different measurements that you have to keep to; for example, EasyJet is 45 x 36 x 20 cm. I have looked around, and the place with the most choices is Temu if you want a reasonable price.

You do have to wait until they arrive to see what the quality is like, but I feel that if it is cheap enough, you can always buy another; you can have colour-coordinated bags! Lol
Then if you are going by plane and you want a case to go in the overhead locker that is then a bit bigger size, I am going to end up with a flat full of bags and cases at this rate and if you are like me you have no where to store them. I always try to fit all the bags into the big suitcase and then try and hide that somewhere.
We then get to the packing, so you have to think about under 100ml is still needed for your cosmetics and bathroom bits. You can buy all different sizes of plastic containers very cheaply in Primark, but I really don’t like transferring my creams etc as I then forget what I have put in what pot, yes I could put labels on them but that is another job I would never get round to. Again, this is an age thing! So I have to look about for what I would like in tiny bottles, during the summer you can find some of these very easily in supermarkets, Superdrug and Boots but in the winter they are a bit harder to find. Obviously, they think people don’t go away in the winter! Poor consumer knowledge, I feel.
THE EDINBURGH NATURAL SKINCARE COMPANY
I am always looking for good products made in this country and particularly eco-friendly packaging. I don’t like ordering from Amazon unless I really have to, as their packaging is ridiculous at times. I also would not buy anything that was tested on animals; that is so cruel. Anyway, I have come across this company that makes all-natural products in Scotland! Their website is very clear, with great descriptions, and easy to use and order.
I am always on the lookout for small pots of nice creams to take away, as you always want to feel your best when away. This company makes such cute pots. I love them. I will be reviewing mine as soon as they arrive, but until then, I have a deal for you for 10% off by using this code, KAREN, when you order. Just click on my name and it will take you to the site, how good is that? Please let me know how you get on. Meanwhile, I will get back to deciding and then packing what I need for my four days in London.
