What a brilliant first novel, I loved every part of this and stayed up reading it way past my bedtime. The plot just gets bigger the more you read with hooks to keep you engrossed in what happened. Many different scenarios go through your mind and you never find out until the end. I found that a shock as wasn’t expecting it to end that way. Excellent writing and characters that all work so well together, I can see this author writing some best sellers in the future.
Heather Critchlow grew up in rural Aberdeenshire and trained as a business journalist after studying history and social science at university. Her debut novel Unsolved was the first in a series about true crime podcaster Cal Lovett and was shortlisted for the BLOODY SCOTLAND DEBUT 2023. The second in the series, Unburied, is out now, with the series set to continue in late 2024.
