BUYING A SUITCASE!

Who would have thought buying a new suitcase would be so hard, have you seen how many different types there are now on offer? The only two things I knew were that it has to be pink, I’m a girl who loves pink and it needed to be a large size. Apparently, you get a choice in each main size, so that then involves checking with the airlines as their requirements are also all very different. I did say it wasn’t easy but in the end, I found a large pink one in BnM. This has four very easy wheels that just glide along making it so easy to turn, very handy if you have a bad shoulder and arthritis. I also went with a hard shell which you can wipe over as the canvas ones get dirty very quickly and also get tears and splits very easily, you will understand why if you have ever seen airport employees throwing the luggage about. The hidden expander might come in handy if you go shopping while on holiday so you can fit a few more bits in to take home. I was amazed and very pleased that you get a guarantee with some suitcases, I advise you to shop around for the best deal. I got a three-year guarantee plus a further ninety days if I fill out the form online.

So now all I have to do is pack, happy days.

Happy travelling

I bought some new suitcases recently and also found I had a lot to choose from. I bought an American Tourister small case from Luggage Superstore> Big discount and arrived next day. So, I then bought the matching next size up as well. Again, arrived next day. So, I now have the small one for weekend trips and the next for longer ones. I still have an Antler case, again medium but expandable, that I’ve had for years. It doubles as storage under the bed when not in use …

There certainly is plenty of choice at the moment and you have to get it right as they do last a long time. x
