WINCHESTER CHRISTMAS MARKET
It takes about two hours to get to Winchester from Folkestone depending on the traffic but as we went on a Sunday the roads were pretty clear. I had never been to Winchester, I was amazed at so many old buildings, the Cathedral was lovely with such great stained glass windows. How did you get on? I managed to stay on my plan of writing every day so I think it was a success as I find you get easily distracted when at home writing. I may not have got to the set target each day but any writing is good writing.

The day started off very wet and windy, then as soon as we made our way to the bus stop to get the coach the sun made an appearance. The trip to London took about an hour and a half, going past many of the landmarks that are so well known. We were dropped right outside Harrods so we made our way inside for the start of the 4-hour shopping stint. There are five floors of everything you could wish for, with an excellent choice. CHRISTMAS AFTERNOON TEA Step through the door into the Christmas space that is Anna’s, plenty of yuletide spirit here plus a delicious afternoon tea. Comprising everything that invites that Christmas feeling. All homemade with love and care then presented on a beautiful tree shape stand. It was certainly filling with so many flavours to bring your taste buds alive.
