DITA GARBO AT THE COTERIE FRIDAY EVENING I was invited to the launch of THE COTERIE, this newly renamed bar along Cheriton Place in Folkestone, last night. Meeting Dita was fun, but over two hours to get ready seemed a lot. But didn’t she look good? It was a fun night and good to catch up with some friends. I organised a couple of book launches for two lovely Folkestone authors last Thursday. The first one was for Margaret Harland-Suddes, who had written a YA fiction story which had been taken up by a London publishing company called Austin Macauley. The book is called Finding Kronam. I am organising these two book launches for our local Folkestone authors. Please pop along to these free events, meet the authors and have a chat. They will be reading a piece of their stories, books are discounted for the event, but the best bit is that there will be food, including cakes and drinks available. I have read both books, the reviews are on my blog, plus I can recommend them both. The bookshop is large with so many books to look at, the choice is amazing.
