CURRENTLY READING, PLUS THE SEAGULL & BOOK FESTIVAL
I started reading this and enjoying it so thought I would tell you about it, there appear to be two storylines going on so keeps you entertained from the beginning. I thought it was going to be about the parent’s lodger, who does seem very dodgy, so why are they not getting rid of him? Then they go to a Literary event and the speaker dies on stage, not put me off going to these events thank goodness. It was children’s day so I took Enzo and Kara along to see what they had going on and it was a lot from a treasure hunt, I did have trouble with one clue to face painting, mini wood house decorating, magic man and lots more. Very well organised, so friendly and happy to help. As Enzo is not three yet they could not paint his face so he had a skull on his arm, his choice. There are some beautiful cards and designs here in the small hut on the Harbour Arm, so many local people design and make such wonderful things to sell here in the Marketplace. I think I will start walking along the beach to collect some sea glass as it all looks amazing.

THE DESSERT FOLKES After watching the Kate Bush display last weekend I popped into this new dessert place for a hot chocolate and a mint aero cookie, which I must say was delicious. I love just having a drink and people watching, I would never have thought there were so many styles of red dresses walking about on The Arm. There is inside and outside seating so a perfect place for dessert in all weathers.
