THE ROSEMONT RESTAURANT, FOLKESTONE

THE ROSEMONT RESTAURANT, FOLKESTONE

One of the best winter offers I have seen in Folkestone, it obviously is very popular as the restaurant was so busy last week when I went for lunch with Kara. You get 50% off the set menu, the choice for main is amazing as you can see below. For under £13, you get two courses, the soup of the day was chicken and mushroom, which I must say was delicious. HUNGRY HORSE, BLACKBULL, FOLKESTONE

This is a local pub that attracts a wide assortment of customers from the local area and further afield. The bar area is popular for the sports on their huge tv’s. The dining area is also fairly large and welcomes children. Prices are very reasonable, with the pub employees all very friendly. I tend to use this restaurant with family and friends, and the large car park is handy for all my friends to park safely. Waiting time for drinks and meals is great and always served with a smile, many of them like a laugh. The food is hot…

We had an enjoyable time; the acts were fun and provided a good mixture of laughs that everyone enjoyed. I am definitely looking forward to more of these in the New Year. I love this old bar at The Grand; it’s so friendly and welcoming, with great food. Plus, the best bit is that entry is free, you cannot beat an evening full…

Set in America and England, but I really liked the way the book flowed, even…
