SEA GLASS DESIGNS ON THE HARBOUR ARM, FOLKESTONE
There are some beautiful cards and designs here in the small hut on the Harbour Arm, so many local people design and make such wonderful things to sell here in the Marketplace. I think I will start walking along the beach to collect some sea glass as it all looks amazing.

THE DESSERT FOLKES After watching the Kate Bush display last weekend I popped into this new dessert place for a hot chocolate and a mint aero cookie, which I must say was delicious. I love just having a drink and people watching, I would never have thought there were so many styles of red dresses walking about on The Arm. There is inside and outside seating so a perfect place for dessert in all weathers. SUNDAY 30th JULY 2023 What an amazing morning, over a thousand people got to the arm by eleven o’clock to watch and listen to this spectacular event to mark the singer Kate Bush’s birthday. It was an amazing site, so if you are about next year, go to this. The crowd were singing and watching from every vantage point, if it wasn’t so windy I am sure there would have been boats out by the arm watching as well, we did have a dolphin that turned up to watch! This is one of my favourite garden centres, mainly because they have some different items in the shop and some occasional bargains but also the cafe and staff are super. It is all very clean and organised with the food being lovely. The other day I took Kara and Jade with me as the breakfast is buy one get one free so that saved me having to cook for them also a bargain at £6.95 for two breakfasts.
