REWILD YOUR GARDEN BY FRANCES TOPHILL – BOOK REVIEW

Published by Greenfinch

This is a book you can keep handy as it not only looks good but the ideas are superb. No matter how soft or hard you want to start rewilding your garden there are ideas for you to try. I keep checking to see the next little thing I could do to attract butterflies as I hardly see them here on the south east coast of UK. Francis keeps everything very simple in her writing and covers a huge area, this is one of my favourite books this year.

I met Francis when she came to our local book event, such a lovely down to earth person who really cares about the environment and what we can all do to help, even if it’s just a small thing like planting flowers that will attract the pollinators.

A few years ago I added a pond and now have frogs, newts and fresh water snails that all thrive together and definitely keep the slugs away from my garden. The newts keep the pond clear and the Lily’s give the pond a coverage to protect them and look super when they flower.

You can catch Frances on Gardeners World some Friday evenings.
