WHAT TO DO WITH THE RHUBARB?

After making a couple of rhubarb crumbles I was left wondering about the making of alcohol as I do really like the rhubarb gin and the vodka that you can buy. How hard could it be? After reading the different recipes I decided to have a try but I didn’t have a demi jon bottle so I got a few litre bottles cleaned and sterilised them. What a gorgeous castle, I cannot believe that I have never visited here before especially as it is under an hour from Folkestone along the coast. One minute your bay tree is small enough that you can keep it all trimmed to a decent height, then in the blink of an eye it’s so big you have no way of reaching it to cut it down. Last week four of the ladies that lunch went out for Sylvie’s birthday, the rule of six still applies in the UK at the moment, due to change on the 21st June but we will wait and see if that happens.
