I was very lucky to win a £30 voucher for Aspendos in a raffle so I decided to make an evening of it and take Kara & Ben and Jade out for a meal. I had never been to this Turkish restaurant before, it is a very popular place with establishments in all neighbouring towns. The sea view here with the afternoon sun is really nice and warm, just right for a pre-dinner aperitif.
The ambience and service were excellent and definitely, somewhere I would recommend and visit again. Lovely and clean and comfy chairs, they also didn’t rush you, which I particularly like when I visit a restaurant.
The choice is good and you certainly get a lot for your money, Ben was the only one that finished everything but they do offer boxes so you can take the rest home. The bread and olives are given free which is a nice gesture but don’t fill yourself up on it.
I wish I could make rice and couscous so fluffy and separate like this as it was delicious. We had a really nice time, definitely, somewhere I would return to.
