WINCHESTER CHRISTMAS MARKET

It takes about two hours to get to Winchester from Folkestone depending on the traffic but as we went on a Sunday the roads were pretty clear. I had never been to Winchester, I was amazed at so many old buildings, the Cathedral was lovely with such great stained glass windows. What a nostalgic trip this was, from the chug chug noise swaying to the seats, all material like they used to be and then the door with the drop-down window, what a massive health and safety issue that was back in the day. The views of the Autumn colours from the trees were amazing and considering it was steam power it went faster than I was expecting. Stopping at some stations that looked like they lived in the past. Definitely a trip worth taking if you are in Yorkshire.

You cannot beat a shoe and handbag shop and this one excelled not only in choice but customer service, people are so nice and friendly in Yorkshire. It was a pleasure to pop into a few shops before we got the coach back home.
