DREAM CAFE BY R.J. GOULD – BOOK REVIEW

First of all, I must apologise for the lateness of this review as I have only just fitted it into my reading schedule. I am so pleased I did, as it is a very light entertaining story, especially after all the murder ones I read.

R J Gould writes contemporary fiction about relationships using a mix of humour and pathos to describe the life journeys of his protagonists. Vinci Books publishes him, and he also self-publishes.

Before becoming a full-time author, he worked in the education and charity sectors. In addition to his addiction to telling stories, he has somewhat milder addictions to playing tennis, watching film noir cinema, completing Wordle, and eating dried mango slices.

R J Gould lives in Cambridge, UK.

I really liked this story as it was fun, entertaining, and I always wanted to know what the characters would do next. Very down-to-earth, so you could almost see all this playing out in your mind. Perfect for a light holiday read or even to de-stress from a busy life.

This book is the first in a series. As you can see below, I am sure the following stories will be just as entertaining as they do follow the characters’ lives, plus adding new people along the way.
