BOOK LAUNCHES LAST THURSDAY

I organised a couple of book launches for two lovely Folkestone authors last Thursday. The first one was for Margaret Harland-Suddes, who had written a YA fiction story which had been taken up by a London publishing company called Austin Macauley. The book is called Finding Kronam. I have read it, and you can read my review here. The food was made by Kara from Everlasting Events. The cupcakes were amazing, and the biscuits, as they were made especially for this event, the cakes had pics of the book on them, very clever. Margaret did a reading and then…

Hungry Horse, Folkestone We decided to go last weekend because we knew Easter weekend would be busy. It was definitely a good choice, as the Easter Bunny spent so much time chatting to Enzo. They even had a hopping race together! This pub is so nice, the way they do things for the children at times. From the moment I opened Richard Scarry’s The Great Pie Robbery at a very young age, I was hooked, and my reading taste has never really changed. At fifty-seven, you’ll still see me picking up the latest Robert Galbraith…
