My flowers are doing very well this year, with brilliant colours, such as the lilies. We have had gorgeous sunshine, so hopefully it will carry on for the school summer holidays. I have been a bit quiet lately, as when I went for my steroid injection in my hip, he scanned it. He said there was inflammation there, so no injection. He said I need a new hip, so to get to ball rolling on that, I have had an MRI and am just waiting to hear what the next step is. I am not looking forward to it, dreading…

And there we are halfway through the year! Summer to look forward to, and the holidays. Are you going away this year? I have already been to Spain, but I will be going again later in the year. It is also my birthday month, so I am looking forward to that and celebrating. Let’s hope the next half of the year goes slower, especially the summer part. DITA GARBO AT THE COTERIE FRIDAY EVENING I was invited to the launch of THE COTERIE, this newly renamed bar along Cheriton Place in Folkestone, last night. Meeting Dita was fun, but over two hours to get ready seemed a lot. But didn’t she look good? It was a fun night and good to catch up with some friends. DAY ONE My break away started with a laugh as usual with Lynda trying to get in the wrong car for our airport lift. People say ‘dumb blonde’ and I must admit I think it should be dizzy or dozy to describe Lynda. But the best thing is that we always have a fun time when together or away.
