It was great to see that the council had at last given us a new library after months of arguing about the old building on Grace Hill, which I must admit was a lovely building, but the repairs were just too much. The opening last week was well attended by local people, with many children listening to stories. The place had been well arranged, with all services back up and running smoothly. I went to an author event at the book festival last week as it was an introduction to some of our local authors, I thought I knew most of them but I was super surprised to see the line up and only knew three of them! Published by Avon A lovely book store which appears to be the base for our murder solving author called Jen. This time she has to prove the innocence of Jaylon so he is able to receive life saving medical treatment, can she get to the bottom of what happened before it is too late? This was a really enjoyable read, a nice cosy crime for your holiday reading, which comes from a series so you have a few to pick from.
