It’s very hard if you are not in a suitable area to take your children trick or treating so I have come up with a few ideas to get them in the mood for Halloween in the comfort of their home. Birchington has joined the literary buzz around the southeast with its first festival. Today was day one, the sun was shining, there was cake, interesting authors and plenty of people to listen. Shorter days, falling leaves and pumpkins for Halloween. Autumn is here so we say goodbye to sunny days at the beach, not that we have had many of them this year. What does October mean for you?
