COMING LIVE FROM KOLLECTIV FOLKESTONE, KENT

I am coming to you live from this superb event in Folkestone as we try to get in the Guinness Book of records with our Poetathon which is for 12 hours. How did we get to October so quickly? I feel like we hardly had a summer, I want to keep remembering the sunny days but we appear to be bombarded with Halloween which is not until the very end of October. It’s like we wish the month away. It does not help that the shops are filling up with Christmas goods! I was in heaven when I found this old bookshop, the selection of books was amazing, there is nothing better than looking at old books. I found one in English but set in Italy so bought it and I am halfway through, it is very nice light reading, just right for a holiday. This is the new cover, I prefer the old one.
View PostDAY EIGHT AND NINE

We started our journey home, leaving at 8 am Going through Switzerland again was stunning. Stopping for a few breaks and lunch then arriving at the hotel we stayed at on the way down. After a couple of drinks in the bar, we then went in for dinner, we had one of the dining rooms to ourselves which was laid out beautifully. DAY NINE We continued our journey back to Calais arriving back in the UK at about 8 pm with some duty-free, so easy when you are on a coach and don’t have to carry it! A great time…
