MOWTOWN EVENING
LEAS CLIFF HALL, FOLKESTONE What a superb show! The singing was extremely good, so nice to hear the popular songs from Mowtown. They even had the dances that some of the artists used to do. The time went far too quickly but I would definitely recommend this show if you like this generation of music. The first thing I noticed was that they are just the right size to pop in your pocket, purse, or bag so that you can keep it with you all day to just have a look at to remind yourself of the positive affirmation of the day. HYTHE FESTIVAL I popped over to Hythe yesterday which is only about five minutes from Folkestone in the car, traffic was minimal and parking was ok. On the green, in the middle of the one-way system they were holding the festival and my writing group Write By The Sea had a few tables where members were selling their books plus we had use of the marquee for some readings.
