HIGH STREET, ROCHESTER, KENT

ESTELLA FASHION

We took a trip to Rochester to catch up with another friend for lunch so took the opportunity of going to my favourite shop and a few charity shops. I love this High street as I lived in Rochester as a child, well I was 13 as I did a paper-round that was so long I had to pick up the rest of the papers halfway round! It was also where I had my first teenage love, Adie.

We all ended up buying something for the summer, so came away very happy with new outfits and of course a bag for myself and jewellery. The beauty of this shop is that they don’t have many of the same things so you never see anyone in identical clothes as yourself. The lady and her daughter are great plus you can try anything on.

SOL Y SOMBRA RESTAURANT

We went to the Spanish restaurant Sol y Sombra for lunch, you cannot beat tapas which made us all remember Spain and look forward to our next trip there. A beautiful restaurant with, great staff and the food is delicious.

A really good day out it is so nice to catch up with everyone as it has been a while for some of us because of the dreaded covid. Hardly anyone wears a mask anymore and I think if you have had all the jabs plus a dose of it it makes you feel not so worried.
