SHOPPING IN SCARBOROUGH
You cannot beat a shoe and handbag shop and this one excelled not only in choice but customer service, people are so nice and friendly in Yorkshire. It was a pleasure to pop into a few shops before we got the coach back home.

GOTH WEEKEND Whitby is a lovely coastal town famous for its fish n chips and the Goth weekend where just about the population dresses up in beautiful costumes. The beach is pure sand that stretches around the cliffs. Many of the restaurants had queues outside for the many fish dishes. We had a lovely time sitting and watching the many people in their costumes and a little look in the shops.

we won the bingo so have treated ourselves, I got the earrings and Corinne got the bracelet. Very happy girls on our way to the steam train experience and then the lovely town of Whitby.

The rain did not put us off having a walk around the market town of Malton. What a selection of beautiful independent shops, the window displays were amazing. We purchased a couple of decorations for our Christmas trees, will show you in a later post. We also bought lottery tickets here as hoping for a bit of Yorkshire luck. Traveling on to Castle Howard and the weather was improving, what an absolute beautiful place to visit. So much to see and admire.
