The rain did not put us off having a walk around the market town of Malton. What a selection of beautiful independent shops, the window displays were amazing. We purchased a couple of decorations for our Christmas trees, will show you in a later post. We also bought lottery tickets here as hoping for a bit of Yorkshire luck.
Traveling on to Castle Howard and the weather was improving, what an absolute beautiful place to visit. So much to see and admire.
So many old books on show here and the chandeliers were so sparkly, would hate to be a cleaner here.
Even the central heating is still very old and they just add another radiator, I was amazed at the size of the old pipes.
They were getting ready for Christmas in the castle.
There really is so much to see here and we didn’t get to walk around the enormous amount of gardens all on show.
Then it was back to the hotel for a well deserved rest then dinner, bingo and entertainment.
