Lisa is one of my favourite crime authors, she definitly has the edge probably because she knows what she is writing about as she is a serving police officer in serious crime. Her first book won an award and she has not looked back, with each book gaining popularity and becoming best sellers.
This story will have you gripped from start to finish, the charecters work really well with the story showing the pressures the police are under. With his group a bit broken from losing their pal they try to get stuck into the next crime. Is everyone whom they seem or are their secrets in the team?
Were mistakes made in the past, can they rectify them and at what cost? I thought this was another masterpiece by Lisa and just the thing for the long winter nights.
