I went to an author event at the book festival last week as it was an introduction to some of our local authors, I thought I knew most of them but I was super surprised to see the line up and only knew three of them! Where have they been hiding, I made contact with most of them and waiting to hear from them about their writing journey and books. I will then do a series of posts about each author, I am excited to get to know them.
It was lovely to catch up with Paul Robinson and he very kindly gave me his latest adult book to review, The Killing of Saint Nick, he mainly writes Childrens stories, So I am looking forward to getting stuck into that when I finish Julie Wassmer’s latest book, The Mantuary.
All I need now is for Charlie Gallagher to publish his latest book and I will be all booked up with local authors.
If you have book worms to buy for at Christmas then pop along to The Folkestone Bookshop on Tontine Street as they have most of the local authors books to sell.
