I often save the pips from the lemons and plant them to see if I can grow them. These last lot I left on the windowsill so they dried out a bit. I then planted them in some gritty pond compost, as that was all I had at the time. They must really like that, as about five of them grew. I have just repotted a couple of them and keep putting them outside to harden off during the day. I think I am lucky as my garden is a sun trap, so they really seem to be growing well. Not sure if I will ever get lemons from them, but I can try.
